These terms apply when you use Scancado, operated in Australia by Stephen Ford, ABN 88 764 351 213.

A shopping information service

Scancado provides product information and tools for scanning, comparing and organising food. Results may be incomplete, out of date or unavailable. Always check the package, especially for allergens, ingredients and preparation instructions.

No medical advice

Scancado does not provide diagnosis, treatment or personalised medical advice. Food ratings are general information. Ask a qualified health professional about individual health or dietary needs.

Your account and submissions

You are responsible for keeping sign-in details secure. You may submit photos you took or are authorised to share for product correction. Do not include people, addresses, receipts or other personal information. You permit Scancado to process submitted images to review product information. Submission does not guarantee publication.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, upload malicious content or use it unlawfully.

Availability and Australian consumer rights

We may change features and correct product data. We aim to keep Scancado available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
